Dublin’s Gangland War (TV3, 9pm)

Donal McIntyre presents this documentary about the feud between Dublin’s Hutch and Kinahan crime families – he examines the beginning and impact of the bloodshed, and asks if the authorities have any power to stop it.

Rescue Dog to Super Dog (Channel 4, 8pm)

Get the tissues ready. This new series follows two of Britain’s top dog trainers as they take six rescue dogs and pair them up with people with disabilities for two weeks, in the hope that they will become disability pets.

Versailles (BBC2, 9pm)

The saucy King Louis XIV drama continues as the Queen gives birth to a baby that is definitely not the King’s – and harsh steps are taken to preserve the royal family’s reputation. #versailles

A big bualadh bos is in order for the Irish Catastrophe actress (pictured above with Carrie Fisher), who won the Trailblazer Award at last night’s Glamour Women of the Year event.

Other winners included Jennifer Saunders, Reese Witherspoon, and Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner, so she is in GREAT company. Congrats, Sharon!
